About Klip
Klip is a food and travel blog focused on local restaurant reviews. We share honest, firsthand experiences from places we've actually visited—no sponsored lists, just real recommendations.
Our emphasis is on Korean dining and the etiquette that goes with it: how to enjoy shared tables, traditional setups, and the kind of spots locals choose. We also cover other cuisines and street food worth trying.
Whether you're planning a trip or looking for your next meal nearby, we hope our reviews help you find something good.
How we think about our reviews
Everything on Klip is written by one or two people. We don't have a big team or a formal rating system—just our own visits and opinions. That means our reviews are inherently subjective. What we like on a given day, how hungry we were, whether the server was in a good mood, even the weather—all of that can colour what we write. We try to be honest about that. We're not aiming to be the final word on a place; we're sharing what we thought when we were there.
We also believe that no single dish or restaurant is for everyone. Tastes differ. Some people want bold spice, others prefer mild. Some care most about atmosphere, others only about the food. So when we say something is good (or not), we're speaking from our perspective. It might not match yours, and that's fine. We'd rather be clear about that than pretend we can speak for every reader. If our review helps you decide to try a place—or to skip it—great. If your experience is different from ours, that's useful information too.
With that in mind, we plan to keep reviewing by dish and by restaurant: short, concrete posts about what we ordered, how it tasted, and how the place felt. We won't cover everything, and we won't promise objectivity. We will try to be consistent, fair, and readable. What we ask from you is simple: take our reviews as one perspective, and enjoy reading. If you find a new favourite or avoid a letdown, we're glad. Thanks for being here.
