I tried the Black Tiger Shrimp Katsu, and honestly, it was on another level. The size alone makes a difference. The breading isn’t overly thick, so the natural sweetness and flavor of the shrimp really shine through instead of being drowned out. What impressed me most was how clean and rich the taste felt at the same time. It’s not greasy, not heavy — just perfectly balanced. Even without much sauce, it stands strong on its own. With tartar sauce, it becomes even more indulgent and satisfying. For a regular college guy just looking for a solid meal, this felt premium. It’s filling, satisfying, and honestly feels worth every penny. Definitely one of the best shrimp katsu experiences I’ve had, and I would absolutely order it again without hesitation. Although it has some price.
